Films Show On RTS Site, But Appear To Have No Scheduled Events

Most of the time when a film is showing up in RTS, but not on the website it is because the login used by the website doesn’t have access to the TicketType. You can use the following steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

  1. Verify if the data settings for movie/film are correct

    1. Confirm the theatertoolkit rts account has access to the ticket type (see RTS Wiki: Setting_up_Tickets)
    2. Look at your RTN website to confirm the film is showing and can be purchased (https://[rtn].formovietickets.com)
  2. If you changed the permissions on the tickettype in rts, or if the tickettype is new, you need to restart your RTS server as explained in the link below to get API to update. (see https://help.theatertoolkit.com/kb/article/24/how-to-reset-your-rts-server-after-changes-are-made-to-films)

  3. Flush the cache on the website to force the the site to reload the data from RTS

  4. Contact us for more troubleshooting.
