Managing ticket sales and customer transactions just got easier with the launch of the Saved Gift Cards feature in Theater Toolkit. This enhancement simplifies the checkout process and elevates the guest experience by allowing customers to securely store and reuse gift cards with an available balance directly from their loyalty account.
Whether purchasing tickets or concessions, guests can now enjoy faster checkouts and easier access to their favorite payment option—gift cards that are ready to use.
What Does This Mean for You and Your Guests?
Quick Access to Gift Cards
Guests can now save gift cards to their loyalty account, making future purchases seamless and hassle-free.
Easy Management
Guests can add or remove gift cards anytime in the Wallet section of their loyalty account. Gift cards with a zero-dollar balance are automatically archived—keeping things neat and up to date.
How It Works
Saving a Gift Card
Guests can save gift cards under the Wallet tab in their loyalty account. If Saved Credit Cards are enabled, they’ll now see the option to Add a New Gift Card.
When a guest selects Add a New Gift Card, they’ll be prompted with a lightbox to enter their gift card number and PIN.
Based on the information provided, they’ll receive one of the following messages:
- Success! The card has been added and has an available balance.
- Already Saved. The gift card has already been added to another account.
- Invalid. The card number or PIN is incorrect, or the card has no available balance.
Managing Saved Gift Cards
Within the Wallet, guests can:
- Add new gift cards
- View saved cards
- Remove cards no longer in use
Note: Gift cards with no balance are automatically archived.
Using a Saved Gift Card
At checkout, if a gift card is saved to the guest’s account, guests will see the total value of all their entered gift cards. Guests can simply click Apply Now to use the available gift card balance towards their ticket and concession purchases.
If any additional payment is needed the system will notify guests with the following message.
They can then add additional gift cards to cover the remaining balance or use a credit card.
We believe this enhancement makes gift card usage faster, safer, and more convenient—encouraging repeat purchases and a smoother guest experience.
