Saved Payments

Published:

Managing ticket sales and customer transactions just got a whole lot easier with the introduction of the Saved Payments feature in Theater Toolkit. Designed to streamline the checkout process and enhance the patron experience, this new capability allows returning customers to securely store their preferred payment methods for future use. Saved Payments reduces friction, speeds up transactions, and helps theaters build stronger, more convenient relationships with their audiences!

What does this mean for you and your guests?

  • Effortless Transactions: Guests can now save their preferred payment method to their loyalty account during checkout, making future purchases quicker and more convenient.
  • Enhanced Security: All payment information is tokenized with your payment processor, so your PCI data stays secure.
  • Streamlined Experience: Guests can easily manage their saved payment methods through their loyalty account, with the ability to remove a saved card at any time or add a new one during their next checkout.

How to Use Saved Payments:

  1. Saving a Payment Method:

During checkout, if the guest is logged into their loyalty account, they’ll see a checkbox under the credit card form labeled “Save Payment for Future Use.”

World Pay requires guests to enter a name in order to save a credit card for future use.

On the page following the World Pay payment screen, guests will now see a Save Payment for Future Use option. Once this option is selected, an additional field will appear prompting them to enter a nickname for the card.

After the nickname is entered and the guest clicks Submit, the payment method will be saved to their account.

In the Wallet, guests will see the saved credit card and have the option to delete it by selecting “Delete Payment Method.” Note: Users cannot manually add a card within the Wallet. This ensures all cards are validated through the checkout process.
