Now Playing / Coming Soon Settings
Published:
In this article, we describe the various ways you can customize the way your movies and events show on your website and mobile app. All of these settings live in our database which means they can be updated very quickly and do not require a code deployment. The settings can be split up in three categories: Now Playing, Coming Soon, and Hero Slider. Each of these sections can be applied to amenity pages as well.
Hero Slider
- Hero Features Enabled: This setting is an on/off switch for the slides generated from your movie list. You would turn this off if you only wanted to display custom hero slides. Turned on by default.
- Hero Display Days Before Release: When generated slides are turned on, this will determine how many days before a movie's release it will show in the slider. This determines when a generated slide for a movie will start showing. Set to 7 by default.
- Hero Display Days After Release: When generated slides are turned on, this will determine how many days after a movie's release it will show in the slider. This determines when a generated slide for a movie will stop showing. Set to 7 by default.
- Hero Max Slide Count: This limits the number of generated slides. Set to 10 by default.
- Hero Sort By: Determines the way generated slides are sorted. We have the following options:
