Ticket Type Sort Order

In the checkout process, customers need to select the type of ticket they are purchasing after selecting their seats. The ticket type options are pulled from your box office point of sale and displayed to the user. By default, the first ticket type option is selected.
Theater Toolkit can be configured to display the available Ticket Types in the following sort order:
- Default – the order provided by the POS system (default setting)
- Name – resort the data to display in alphabetical order
- Price – resort the data to display with highest price to lowest price
Best Practice
We recommend setting the most common ticket type sold to be first so the user is less likely to have to make a change to the selection in the checkout process.
